Human Rights Policy and Implementation Status

Hakers and its subsidiaries have established a comprehensive set of policies to ensure ethical and responsible practices within our factories. These policies include:

  1. No forced labor: We strictly prohibit the use of any form of forced labor in our operations. All employees are hired voluntarily and have the freedom to terminate their employment at any time.
  2. No child labor: We are committed to ensuring that no individuals below the legal working age are employed in our factories. We comply with all relevant laws and regulations regarding child labor.
  3. Anti-harassment and abuse: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment and abuse of any kind. We strive to provide a safe and respectful working environment for all employees.
  4. Compliance with working time regulations: We adhere to the legal working hours and rest periods prescribed by local labor laws. Overtime work is voluntary and compensated accordingly.
  5. Non-discrimination: We promote equal opportunities and do not tolerate discrimination based on factors such as race, gender, religion, nationality, or any other protected characteristic.
  6. Health and safety: We prioritize the well-being of our employees by maintaining a safe and healthy working environment. We adhere to all applicable health and safety regulations, conduct regular inspections, and provide necessary training to ensure a hazard-free workplace.

Note 1: The Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) is a non-profit organization founded by the Foreign Trade Association (FTA) in 2003. BSCI aims to promote social responsibility in the global supply chain, ensuring that businesses involved in the production of goods adhere to a set of labor and social standards and respect critical issues such as human rights, labor rights, and environmental protection.

Note 2: Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) is the world's largest factory-based verification program for sewn products manufacturers, including garments, footwear, and accessories. The WRAP verification program assesses the compliance of factories with 12 WRAP principles, ensuring safe, healthy, legal, and ethical manufacturing processes worldwide. These 12 principles include: Compliance with laws and workplace regulations; Prohibition of forced labor; Prohibition of child labor; Prohibition of harassment or abuse; Compensation and benefits in accordance with legal requirements; Limitation of working hours as prescribed by law; Prohibition of discrimination; Health and safety; Freedom of association and collective bargaining; Environment; Customs compliance; Security.
